We live in Israel. I'm looking for a warm, open minded orthodox (not modern orthodox) High school in US, with reputable dorm/ sleeping accomodations for my 8th grade daughter, going into 9th next year. She has a BY background but is now in a more relaxed school setting and she is more relaxed with her tznius standards, but is actually connecting more spiritually, not looking for BY, looking to grow. She is a well behaved very sweet, very creative kid looking to be around mature girls looking to grow and be inspired. Does this exist? Thank you

Maybe Bruriah would be suitable? She would most likely need to find a place to board.

Most schools with dorming only start in 9th grade in the US. (I only know of one that starts in 8th and it's a Chabad school.)

What does open minded orthodox mean? I’ve never heard a person, a shul, a school describe itself as such

Which chabad school? Do you know anything else about it?
Open minded meaning not "in a box", broader vision if the students internal growth as opposed to exterior appearance and positive approach as opposed to very disciplinary

Yeshiva of Greater Washington girls division may be a good option

I was also thinking of yeshiva high in silver spring. I know a bunch of girls that board in Baltimore and they have a van from 7 mile market at 7 am and come back at 6 pm but it starts in 9th grade.

No it starts in 7th. She could potentially board with a family in silver spring

The school starts in 7th, but only take boarders starting in 9th.

What about Denver? I may be totally out of date, but I know in my days this would have made sense. Or Silver Spring, like others mentioned.
Maybe Richmond, but that's a little different.

We are not interested in a boarding family, but a dorm facility that accommodates a group, with counselors/madrichot
