During the summer months, with stockings or bare leg, the skirts, no matter the length, can be styled with the right sneaker. I get to be comfortable and achieve the look I want.
But-
How does one style sneakers for the winter?
Is it possible to wear sneakers and tights and look like the sneakers are for fashion purposes and not because your feet hurt?
If yes,
What color? What color sole? What color laces?
I can potentially see sneakers working with maxi length and tights.
But what about a midi skirt?
What about color of sneaker and of sole and laces?
I’m just not seeing how it works.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I really want to wear sneakers this winter because my feet really hurt in shoes and boots but I also don’t want to look like I chose my footwear for comfort. (Yes, yes I know I’m vain and I should wear what’s best for my feet. But can you please help me anyway?)

Sneakers don’t go with tights
Crew socks might be a better option

If I'm dressed casually I'll wear black footless tights, white crew socks and black sneakers.
