Wanted to make yesterday but we had an app so no time. Will make rainbow cookies with the kids and let them decorate with colored icing.

That's so beautiful and thematic. I'm thinking in terms of even what kind of extra kugel or cake.

Had so much leftover challah which turned into braizel so I made an apple pie with braizel. It's so easy. Fill a pan with braizel, then add thin sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon, then a layer of braizel, and again a layer of thin slices apples with sugar and cinnamon. Make a few layers. Add some grapejuice or applejuice to make it moist. Bake for 30 minutes, add some more juice to keep it moist, bake a little longer until you think it's finished. Always smells great and tastes good.

You dry out challah, some people bake it, I don't just the let pieces get very hard and then you process it in the food processor so it becomes fine crumbs. You use them to coat chicken in addition to eggs and flour, or in schnitzel, or with baking. You can also fry them for shlishkas. There are a lot of uses.
