Years ago, someone told me that if a woman in labor makes challah, It's a segulah for children for the one who eats the challah.
Anyone ever hear af this? I'd love to know if it's has a source.

Only thing I’ve heard related to this is that a woman should make challah in her ninth month, I think something to do with an easy labor

Ive heard of that one too. But I remember someone asking me if (as a Mikvah Lady) I knew anyone wh.o would want this challah she made while in labor. And the only woman I thought of had a gluten or yeast allergy and couldn't eat it. Also. I think they had to eat it the night they went to the mikvah

Yes I heard of it but I dont have a source. I didnt hear about the challah part, it was for baking in general.
I had the ostreichers frozen ready to bake cookies in my freezer and I made sure to bake some when I got into labor. I was supposed to give it to someone but instead I ate it as a zchus for her so that its not awkward.
she bh did have a child after... im sure it wasnt the only zchus she had done for her but maybe I had a chelek in it
(we did a lot for the couple besides the baking cookees lol)

I've heard of TAKING challa. With a bracha. While in labor.
And there are people who will bring a laboring woman challa dough so she can do the mitzva

I had an experience where I was a shaliach from such challah and two women who got it bh gave birth within the year individuals who were struggling with infertility. one had twins

Do you know any more about it. Any specific details?
I know someone who made challah while in labor, and I know a few people who would appreciate the segula. But I need to know details to offer it.

What an opportunity! I called the girl who did it (made cake in labor ) and whose mom gave me the pieces) she's a young bubby now actually! She is trying to get more info and will share when I do beh!she was so inspired to hear the outcome as I didn't probably follow up with her or her mom post giving out the challla to those two ladies...there's a time for everything!
