Can anyone tell me if any of those dishes can be put in the freezer. We had leftover from a simcha and would love to be able to save some food if possible. Otherwise I’ll try giving some away. Short ribs, chicken and broccoli, couscous, fried rice and mini roasted red potatoes. Can any of those food be put in the freezer? Or they won’t last. And if yes, how do I store properly in the freezer. Thanks!

All can be put in the freezer except the potatoes. The chicken and broccoli may have a slightly different consistency but will still taste good.

I'd store couscous and fried rice in gallon ziplock freezer bags. Short ribs and chicken broccoli could theoretically go in those bags too, but it might be easier just to put them in pans that are big enough for one dinner for your family. Cover them well, that's all.

Wow thx so much for this info! Will do that then. How long does it last in the freezer? When should I have it all used up by?

Depends if you have a deep freezer or regular freezer compartment of the fridge. A deep freezer is always better.
If you pack the food well it will last longer.
But most important, the more fatty it is the shorter life span in freezer.
If you can finish it up within three months it's very good.
Do you have huge amounts?
Even if you have it in the freezer for a year it won't go bad (as becoming poisonous) it simply wont taste that great but will still be edible.
Important: divide the food in portions according to your needs and choice and MARK DATE AND CONTENT.

Freeze all except potatoes.

Chicken and broccoli will degrade the fastest so plan to use it up quickly.

Take the dishes out of the pans. There's too much air in them to cause freezer burn.

Couscous and rice in freezer ziploc bags with air squeezed out.

Ribs in one layer on large heavy duty foil, rightly sealed. Then double wrapped in freezer ziploc bags with air squeezed out.

Chicken and broccoli has to be used within 2-3 weeks so I'd just double wrap well.

I've frozen and reheated roasted red potatoes without an issue. I'm more likely to do that than fried rice, but you could freeze any of those things
