I'm currently postpartum and nursing. I gained about 70lbs during pregnancy and am feeling so sluggish. I'd love to gain my energy back.
I don't have the money for fancy recipes (and I live in Israel so ingredients are limited), and I don't have the time to dedicate much for this - I've got an adorable fussy newborn here! I also was hardly able to move during pregnancy so I'm slowly starting to move again but can't do any major workouts.
How can I do this, in a way that is healthy while I'm nursing?

The food you eat should have most of their calories from protein and fat (and by fat I don’t mean canola oil… I mean Greek yogurt)…

I lost 50 Lbs while nursing in 5 months…

Did the following -
Walked 15 min (didn’t have more time) right after kids bus (I knew once I get in I’m not getting back out…)
Counted calories
Googled low calorie foods (less than 50 calories a serving) and worked that into my menu
Cut out empty calories (oil - is a lot of calories per tablespoon I either cut it completely or used oil spray so I can stick to a minimum)
Swapped high calorie foods for lower calorie foods (mango and strawberries vs cantaloupe and watermelon)
Filled up on a lot of 0 calorie or very low calorie foods (pickles, diet soda, etc)

Regarding money - I made calculation that I’m eating less so food can cost more… it did not come out to much more than expensive…
