I'm always seeing it featured in korean recipes and food blogs.
What does it taste like and has anybody found it kosher? I'd love to try it

In Monsey, Pomona Grill sells it. I love it. I make kimchi stew, kimchi rice, use it as a side during meals but we eat a lot of Korean foods. It's a pickled cabbage taste and a little spicy.

Listen if you can get the Cleveland kitchen stuff I highly recommend it. It's bright and sour and a hint of sweetness. Naysayers will say it's not authentic. Neither is sliced bread so who cares. Nasoya is more authentic but less exciting.

It’s delicious and you can find kosher (Cleveland Kitchen and I’ve seen another brand). It’ll be in the refrigerator case. It’s crunchy, tangy, sweet, spicy, salty, gingery, earthy. You need to love cabbage and pickles and Asian flavors. It’s great mixed with fried rice, served on plain rice with a fried egg. One of my favorite lunches to make myself.

Omg I always wondered what kimchi tastes like! I love fermented food, so my mouth is watering when watching recipes making it.

I just noticed how many of us have food-related usernames on this thread. Makes sense! Very Happy

One of the groceries near me carries kimchi with a hechsher. It's in the produce aisle.
