We have a number of women here who are experienced in financial planning.
Also, a bunch with ADHD and other challenges.
So I'd like to share for those who might be interested as many in all income brackets are finding the money affords less these days.
Phrases like "deserve" and "everyone else" are not financially sound reasons.
Credit card debt means you are flat broke and digging a hole for yourself that will be increasingly difficult to climb out of.
If you have difficulty budgeting but your dh is a whiz at it, set yourself up for success. Use his talents and account for your weaknesses.
A great system is allowing dh to be exclusively in charge of all credit card purchases. Let him give you an envelope labeled with cash in it.
One for food, one for clothing, one for entertainment, one for miscellaneous. You will have an easier time managing adhd that way and responsibly participating in budgeting.
