There's no reason to call Poison control because it's not poisonous.

I managed to get in touch with his pediatrician. Pediatrician said not to worry but keep on eye on behavioral changes

An er told me as well as my pediatrician too, that honey that is sold in the regular groceries are not an issue. My 7 month old threw up excessively after eating a few macaroons. I ran to the er knowing the kid will be diagnosed with botulism. It was not the honey probably some other ingredient. It's years later. Still don't know.

I didn’t say it was. OP said she can get in touch with her pediatrician because he is out of the country. She seemed nervous, so I made a suggestion that might put her mind at ease.

The issue is more in RAW honey, not the processed stuff we buy in the store.

That's exactly what they told me.

Most people are not cooking salmon with raw honey.
We did get raw honey for RH but didn't use it to cook!
The one baby I know who got botulism didn't get it from honey either.

I never knew honey was an issue. I give honey cookies for my babies from 6+ months. Is this something new?
