A few follow up questions:
Which spices do you use?
For how much fish does this amount make?
And I'm unclear on the baking instructions. Bake at 350 covered for an hour or 500 uncovered for 25 min?

salt and black pepper
I would say total of 12 slices fish
I got the recipe with the 350 instructions.. I do my own thing- the 500 uncovered for 25 min

Last night was tongue and corn beef. Now it’s sweet and sour meatballs and a leek soup.

Total since yesterday:
Corn beef
Tongue
Duck with figs
Honey buffalo meatballs
Surprise roast
Sweet and sour meatballs
Leek soup

I’m about to put up sweet and sour cabbage soup, and once I turn that off I’m going to go to sleep.

On tomorrow’s agenda: (I really hope I get to it all!)
Duck confit
Ribs
Lentil soup
Citrus beef
Squash soup

I set myself mini goals for every day. So I know what I am making that day and can check it off my list.

So on today’s agenda was 2 compotes. One apple and one pear. And matzo balls. And also cook the tongue. The sauce for the tongue will get done on Tuesday. Which will be a huge cooking day for me.
I ended up making supper too. So I also made a Harira soup. Which half is going into the freezer for yom tov. And I quickly put up a really easy chestnut soup.

On the agenda for tomorrow is cooking fish. I started making sweet and sour fish and my family loves it. So that’s on the agenda for tomorrow. It’s better the longer it sits, so I want to make it first thing.

Then Tuesday I want to prep my mains. Which I will cook on Wednesday. And my family requested a corn flakes cake. Which my family loves. And then aside from last minute roasted veggies, I hope to be done.

I learnt a very important lesson on Rosh hashana and I’m trying to take it along with me. It was a very hectic season for me. With a birth in the family and an erev Rosh hashana bris, I didn’t have time to cook. So everything was very simple. And my family loved it. I do want to do a little more for sukkos, but not going crazy.
