*time sensitive* how should I store my meat?

I just finished making a big roast for rosh hashana. We'll be eating it iyH Friday morning. Do I freeze it till then or put in the fridge? Thanks.

Slice when cold & then freeze it.
Take it out of the freezer Thursday night to defrost in Fridge.
