ARTSCROLL EXPLANATION:
We deeply regret that our lack of trendy style has clearly created a great chasm between us and holiness. Because, as we know, spirituality is measured by how closely we follow the latest fashion trends. By neglecting to keep up with every fleeting style, we’ve fallen into the sin of not "keeping up with the Cohens," and obviously, how can we hope to reach divine favor without the latest sneakers and perfectly coordinated outfits?
