Are you making things for shabbos that have vinegar and nuts since it’s not Rosh hashana anymore?

Our minhag is to go through Hoshana Rabba.
A lot of people bake cakes or cookies with nuts for shmini atzeres and simchas Torah because of that. I don’t but that’s when we bring back out the vinegary foods. It sounds like for some people not using nuts is a big deal but we host a lot and avoid them because of allergies. It’s not hard to prepare meals and desserts without nuts.
