Advice needed please !

The weather has not been super consistent here in the tristate area.

Will you be dressing your kids for shul this rosh hashana in fresh cold weather clothes? Or summer clothes that may or may not have been through the ringer?

Will depend on the weather. If it's chilly, winter clothes. If there is one hotter day I will do summer clothes.

There are 10 shul days in October. It will mostly depend on weather, but we will probably wear new for RH-super excited, but Shabbos will be back to summer and then try to get as much summer stuff in again over the rest of the Yom Tovim.

As of now, Thursday looks like a high of 71 which is warmer than today and Friday and shabbos look even warmer...so you can really go either way. But I'll probably do summer clothing and save their winter stuff for succos or see weather on Yom Kippur. A cartigan or sweater....

We wear white on Roth Hashana, so my boy will be in white shirts and dark pants and my daughter will be in a mix, some old season and some new season, with the new stuff on whichever day is coldest/wettest.

My baby outgrew the summer things and moved on to the long-sleeved warmer wardrobe in September.

Was just going to say exactly this. You're supposed to save the new clothing for sukkos.

Girl, it’s 3 days so literally one of each of the above Smile

One summer long sleeve we wore less, one new lighter winter and one summer that’s on its last leg.

Winter clothes. The hottest it’ll get is low 70s, so no one will be too hot in a sweater. And the morning and evenings are 60ish or lower, too cold for shorts.

Why are the only choices summer or winter? How about fall clothes.

Most ppl can’t afford a fall specific Shabbos wardrobe so it’s less a tiny and not so likely to be discussed.

Either winter stuff without extra layers (so no tights or turtlenecks or thick velours or cardigans)

Or

Summer stuff with an extra layer such as a cardi, tshirt, or tights.
