To my neighbor whose kids have it so easy and socially get along with everyone it’s hard for me to watch.
When every afternoon I have to run around looking for friends for my kids. I know my daughter is a little different and funny looking but please find a place in your heart to accept her and find good in her.
Please teach your child to be nice she did nothing wrong. This is the way g-d created her.
I give you all the therapy she needs and provide her love and care. But she is a little different please love her because one day I know she will be a successful adult who will be a mover and shaker.

I feel your pain OP. I also have a dd for whom friends don't come easily and it's not something people understand if they haven't been there.

I wish I lived near you.
I have a DD who seems similar. I can't get her playdates. People ignore messages from me. Or wait all week "to see if they get a better offer" and let me know late Thursday or Friday that they are unavailable so it is too late to find other plans.
We got her social skills training and help and they just won't give her a chance. They know "the old her" not the more mature, capable and socially ok girl she is now.
