Is there anything I can do to help clear it and/or keep the skin and scalp from being so dry?

If your baby is like 1 month is really normal and it’ll pass soon!

Dandruff shampoo for cradle cap. You only need to use it once or twice

Aren't these things normal? They usually go away on their own. I have 4 kids. I never treated it.

It doesn't always go away. And it is a bit gross when it's not only a bit.
I tried baby oil, dandruff shampoo etc. Nothing worked on my last baby til I tried Frida baby treatment.

I got a prescription for ketoconazole cream for my baby’s face when it hasn’t started to clear and was only getting worse by her one month appointment. She was even getting cradle cap on her face above her eyes/near her eyebrows.
I know it’s just looks and it wasn’t harmful but for me I wanted her to be cute and not gross looking.
For cradle cap we used mustella and I combed her head after her bath

Someone told me to try mother’s milk for baby acne. I’m not a huge believer in home remedies but I’ve been rubbing some milk on my baby’s cheeks during breastfeeding. Face looks so much better already. He is 3.5 weeks old, been trying this for about a week. Can’t guarantee results but if you’re breastfeeding, might as well try. (As an upside, I no longer get upset when my baby unlatches and milk sprays his face.)
