A security blanket (the ones with a little animal attached to a tiny blanket). My kids all loved holding those when they where babies, they really helped calm them.
They are expensive in the frum stores but I've found cute ones for $8-$10 in non Jewish stores.

What about a book for the older sibling (if there is one)?

I just did a quick Google search and this showed up https://www.gerberchildrenswea.....m2119 for $8 and it says it's free to embroider a name on it (there's a few different color ones)

If you have time to order this looks really expensive
https://a.aliexpress.com/_oDr0Orp

It's on sale now but when it wasn't on sale it was approx $10

I know a few people with it and it looks like the really expensive blankets from the fancy stores.
