I'm looking for ideas on how to cut down on expenses so that I can save up $$
Here what I already tried:
1. cutting down on plastic goods
2. making homemade lunches for my husband
3.making cheaper suppers

does anyone have any other saving tips?

I feel like we are being gaslit by this economy. Is there a way to increase your income? MOST people know how to budget but costs are just insane.

Maybe buy certain stuff bulk in costco if you have the storage space. Also track your spending in catagories for a couple months and then maybe you can see categories where you can cut down on.

Meal plan so you're only buying what you need

Shop at Walmart/Aldi for whatever you can (haven't price checked but they're pretty cheap)

Costco saves me a ton of money in dish soap, paper towels, etc. we also use Kirkland toilet paper and only use Kleenex for shabbos and that saves a lot
Otherwise you need to write out a budget with all your expenses and keep track for a couple of months and you’ll see yourself what you spend on that can be cut down or taken out altogether

Make your own hot cocoa mix instead of buying premade
