How much does the average couple without kids spend on groceries per month?
I average $500… wondering if that’s normal?
Some times can spend around $800 but then next month will try to spend less and use up what I have and will spend around $300.

To me that actually sounds very decent / low end for food but you have to take your lifestyle into account.
Are you going away most shabbosim / yomim tovim (bulk of the expense in weekly shopping trips)
Are you eating out frequently and budgeting that separate from food
The main thing is that your budget has to work for you. And budget is overall not just food but is your combined income greater that ur expenses and are you putting away money each month/happy with your current lifestyle or.do you feel you need to cut back more ajd loom at your overall expense to see where to do that
Sorry for my long response. I think that number is great personally for food monthly

I’m not including restaurants. I don’t think I buy anything outrageous and I try to buy things on sale- it seems high but I guess it makes sense with my shopping habits.
