Cover with silver foil and then put the whole thing in a ziploc bag, zipped shut.

When re-heating, take straight from freezer and put in oven covered for 1 hour. Uncover for the last 15 min to ensure the top is crispy.

Don't let it defrost on counter before re-heating. Will not come out as good.

Thanks at what oven temp would you defrost it?

I freeze stacks of raw apple crisp pans in the freezer (I have a few different recipes, so I vary them a bit) and I take it from the freezer to the oven, heat uncovered (so the top doesn't mush).

What do you freeze/bake them?
I find my pie plates take up to much room in my freezer

Not sure I understand the question.

I pop them into the oven on whatever the oven is on, and bake till done.
So on Friday, my oven is usually on 350. On YT oven is likely on 250. So will need longer bake time.

I just put in oven and check when apples look very mushy and sort of blistery - I like them very soft and well done in there.

Oh. Mostly disposable loaf pans.

I do love oven-to-tableware, but limited supply of those, and limited freezer space.
Sometimes I make them in round pans (either 9" or smaller 6") and I have pie plates in those sizes. When I serve them, I just put them into the pie plate (with the disposable pan) as a holder, and serve them like that.

Could you share some recipes? Healthier ones preferably although I can always substitute coconut sugar for white sugar and spelt flour for regular. Thanks.
