I want to DIY a toy closet/ shelving system for my playroom.
Would like to hear suggestions/ advice.
I have an 8' wall for this. I think the best depth would be 16".
I think I'll do 4 towers/ sections, each 2' wide. And the shelves will be between 10-16" height.
I keep my toys in clear sterilite bins, and those will go on the shelves.
Perhaps I'll do closed cabinets at the top, to store the toys that need more supervision, such as paint, play doh, etc.
Do you think a few smaller cubes would be necessary?
What about drawers? Is there any use for drawers?
Any other tips? Suggestions?
Also, if anyone has good sturdy clear bins with lids to recommend, I'd like to hear. The sterilite ones tend to break after sometime. Especially the covers.
Thank you.
*Sorry, idk how clear I am describing it all. Writing is not my strength at all.
