This poll is inspired by a post I saw earlier. Many women were coming forward sharing that they were the breadwinner

Needs a fifth option as well... husband and wife both work and earn similar amounts.

When we first got married, my husband was kollel and I was the sole breadwinner. When he first started working, he was at the bottom of the totem pole and I was definitely making more than him. He's caught up over the years and surpassed me in the past few years. He makes more than me now, but not by much.

We each earn enough to cover our family's expenses singlehandedly. So I guess we are both the breadwinner.

I'm the breadwinner, he's in college. Does that make him unemployed?

DH earns almost twice as much as I do, but my job covers benefits like health insurance, retirement fund-matching, and other things - so it feels like it evens out in the end.

I do earn a little more but he does more at home because he wfh more, so it is a balance.
The only hard time is erev yomtov because a lot of youtov prep esp pesach /planning/ cooking falls on me and I don't get time off, he has a lot more PTO than I do due to the nature of his job, my work is 24/7 and the only time I get to switch off 100% is shabbos/yomtov when my cell gets turned off.

Husband is chronically unemployed or underemployed.
We both have careers and graduate degrees but his has a higher earning potential.
I work FULL time out of the home and he has like 10 hours a week from home he feels is "so much" he can't do more than 1 way of carpool. How dare I ask him to move laundry to dryer.
And at end of the day? I am the one cleaning, organizing and doing laundry. And I coordinate appointments for all the kids.
While I make the bulk of the income and work more hours, and out of the home.

I voted that I’m the breadwinner and my husband is unemployed, but the truth is he does side jobs and earns a small amount from kollel and we wouldn’t be able to live off my income alone.

Same. But he's finishing this year and then he will be the main breadwinner.
