I'm thinking of doing an overnight roast for the first day meal, and BBQ chicken to put in on the second day to feed my niece and nephews (sis is walking in for Shabbos) and whoever else wants.... and then putting the chulent (which I prepare on the stove) in right before Shabbos.
If that crockpot is on, it's gonna have to earn it's keep....LOL. |
So I use a crockpot to cook fresh even for a 2 day yt- put up a fresh brisket second night after dinner and you have delicious fresh food second day with no time investment when the kids are awake. But I only use the crockpot once per YT because I don’t want to have to clean it multiple times over YT.
