In a popular wedding hall in Bnei Brak, there's something like that looks like a camera pointing right into one of the women's bathroom stalls. There's a sign next to it saying, "This is not a camera, it's a [can't remember what]." So maybe those just look like cameras? |
I wouldn't be able to bring myself to use those bathrooms

Maybe they had an incident in that bathroom? So they set up cameras to deter/find the perpetrator/Idontknowwhatelsetothink?

That scares me even more.
This is weird. They have cameras all over the place too?
OP, I think you have a right to know who monitors these cameras?

OP is not required to update. Even if she promised an update, you can't be sure what's happening in her life that is preventing her from coming back to any thread. I understand the curiosity and the desire for closure. However, the manner in which this post was written is very rude and demanding. If you really feel like asking for a update, please do so in a more mild tone thank you love mod

I actually think that it's sort of rude to start a dramatic thread that gets people all interested & involved, and then disappear. I think that it's reasonable to expect an update.

I apologize if my previous comments came across as curt or intrusive. That wasn't my intention. I appreciate you pointing it out.
I genuinely want to understand the situation better, and my concern also extends to the societal impact of having cameras in a toddler’s bathroom. I hope it turns out to be a false alarm.

I'm sure people are not starting dramatic threads on purpose. But life gets in the way. Maybe they are busy dealing with the drama and don't have time to update. Also consider the amount of time... In this case not even 24 hours. Since the last post. And as I said it was more the tone of the post that is problem . "OP" Then a question mark. "Are you there" Then another question mark"Update" and yet another question mark. In the written word this is practically an interrogation. A more appropriate reminder post is something like
"Hey OP, I'm thinking about you/ your situation. Any news? Hope everything's okay."
Do you see the difference in tone?
Also not so soon after the last post. C'mon .. like I said people have a life outside Imamother.

I think @singleagain was simply trying to teach basic thread etiquette, to keep things respectful for everyone.

like I said the main issue was a matter of tone. Thank you for understanding my comments as I meant them.
I know some ppl say writing doesn't have tone, but it does, word choice, sentence structure, punctuation and mark up all inform how a person reads a post.
Please just take that into consideration when posting.
