If my kid were being filmed using a toilet I wouldnt call my reaction “panicking”
I’d call it common sense

The way they have it set up in some men mikvahs is that the footage is inaccessible unless two or three people input a password.
If the situation calls for it, they have video available under proper supervision.

I obviously don't know the setup or situation here, but instant report? Red flag? Why this knee-jerk reaction?

Again if someone even with best intensions were filming my child toiletting unbeknownst to me then that would be completely unacceptable and I’d stop it asap
Yes I’d make sure my kid weren’t filmed

Are you sure they're cameras? In a popular wedding hall in Bnei Brak, there's something like that looks like a camera pointing right into one of the women's bathroom stalls. There's a sign next to it saying, "This is not a camera, it's a [can't remember what]." So maybe those just look like cameras?

Mentschlichkeit. There was a reasonable explanation there with a phone number. I think it was a motion detector or something like that and was there for security reasons.

Not normal at all one yeshiva I know (and saw) They have cameras only in the room that you wash your hands and it’s facing the door to come in so you only see the kids washing hands. (Bev the rabbeim is the same bathroom)
