Help me find a high school for my son, that’s mainstream yeshiva, but also has a great English department. We are regular frum flatbush type

As far as I know none of those types of yeshivas have amazing English departments-Torah Vodaath, Torah Temimah, Kaminetz, but they are adequate.

I didn’t notice the rest of your question lol any of these would fit your description
Torah Temimah
Torah Emes Kaminetz
Ohr Shraga veretzky ( slightly more Yeshivish)
Chofetz Chaim
Rabbi Zucker ( forgot the formal name)
Chaim Berlin
Torah Vodaath

Doesn't exist. None have a great English department. Chofetz chaim prob the most serious about English.

So what would people do if they want their son in mainstream yeshiva, but also have a good English education?

I sent to torah vodaas and felt it was adequate. One of my sons when straight from there to CUNY and had no issues.

maybe others can chime in because I don't know yeshivas too well.
but for example - Chaim Berlin is more yeshivish -- no cell phones. only in 12th grade and can only be flip phones (talk & text), while yeshivas like chofetz Chaim & rabbi zucker's, I believe, allow filtered smart phones.
