Agree, a bobby pin works wonders. I carry a pack around in my purse.

What do you exactly do with a bobby pin?

If you can't get it from Amazon, you can order something very similar from Shein. Just search for "elastic thread". You'll need a big needle or threading aid as well to get it around the inside channel of the neckline. I recommend doubling the thread for better durability.
I bought that elastic thread from Shein before the war (since then I've been boycotting them). It did work nicely, I fixed up the necklines on a bunch of tops and shirts of mine.

Edited to add, to avoid Shein, maybe you can ask for elastic thread in some local, non-Jewish arts and crafts or sewing supplies/taylor shop, if such shops exist where you live.

Can you perhaps please recommend how wide the elastic should be? I want to order from Temu but am clueless as to the correct width/thickness.

Thanks

I bought the ez elastic on Amazon before the summer but it was quite difficult.. I never finished my tshirts and wasn’t able to get full use of them Sad
I would love to still fix it but it’s quite complicated

Edited- it was probably complicated for me because I had to take in a bit more than just a little..

It says it’s supposed to be flat mine are bunched up. It’s impossible for it to be flat.
