Most of people who travel NEED travel jewelry so they don’t get stolen or lost. Some pieces are not insurable depending where one lives. Also, if you try to enter in certain countries with more that 10,000 worth of jewelry and you are not wearing it they may confiscate it with the excuse you’re bringing to sell. So there are as you see MANY uses.
