Is it permissible to do a puzzle, as an adult not a child?
Or are we only allowed to do things which reminds us of the Churban?

You can sit on a chair, and prepare food for after the fast.

The atmosphere of mourning is lighter, with hopes of redemption, but still mourning. I don't know if there are halachos about doing a puzzle. I don't think I would do it.

After chatzos we do what we can to get through the fast. If that means a puzzle, that's what we do.
Maybe not everybody does this.

Before chatzos is the intense part. Sitting low and talking about the charbon.

After chatzos we do everything we are allowed to do in the 9 days. Besides the 4 restrictions
Eating
Drinking
Leather shoes
Washing hands past knuckles

In the 9 days we are allowed to wash laundry if we will need it or for children. On Tishav we don't. We could even wash dishes but its bettwr to wear rubber gloves that the hands shouldnt get wet.

We don't go to parks, fun places. Extremely dangerous places, swimming places. All places that we refrain from going in the 9 days. Crafts and puzzles are OK just like it is in the 9 days.
