I work in IT for the federal government. The salaries are based on experience plus years. I am working here over 20 years.

I make $ 128,956 a year, but work full time (full time is 8.5 hours a day, so 42.5 hours a week). I could probably make more in the private sector, but I love the job stability and job flexibility.

Yup. I don’t get school benefit I get after care/daycare/daycamp/sleepaway. Doesn’t fully cover these things but it’s a large amount towards them

Lots of jobs

Start at 70k after schooling

It’s really the 200-500k plus that’ll be harder you’ll have to go to medical school, dental, engineering, actuary etc

We’re mid level earners 100k with all our siblings earning 300k+ educated professionals

I’m a nurse in NYC and make 118k base salary. New grad in a well paying hospital. The poster who makes 140k probably has years of experience, certification in her specialty, advanced clinical ladder etc. I definitely work with nurses making 140k.

Not really true that you have to get special schooling to earn 200k+. I'm earning close to 200k, and have received offers for over 200. Just a bachelor's, working in a tech field. I know many others in adjacent fields who earn over 200k.
