I am so emotional. I have been waiting for this moment for such a long time. Thank you Hashem!!
I spent the day shopping with my teenage daughter yesterday. After 3 years of being told 'your taste is old-fashioned', 'you don't don't get it' , 'ew..that's so nerdy' , 'Ma, do you want me to be a social outcast?' and lots of scoffing and eye-rolling at any article of clothes I had the audacity to point out or even glance at....
the following happened.
(drumroll)
Yesterday at one of the stores we went to, I picked up a skirt and this happened.
Her: 'That's not half bad'.
Me: (playing it cool) 'Yeh?'
Her: ' I wouldn't wear it, but it's not bad'.

Iy"h by all of you.

We might've thought it, but we didn't say it! There was more of a generation gap, we didn't expect our mothers to be cool or trendy!

I was, but my mother and I have a very different.
I also want to say that I'm not like this with all my girls. I have one daughter that her taste is so different than mine it's not a joke. The others are alot more similar to me.
