I have high inflammatory markers and could do with an anti-inflammatory diet.
But, I also have IBS so that rules out a LOT of healthy foods (at least for me personally).
I have a big list of foods I can't eat, mostly fruits and vegetables.
I'm wondering if there is such a thing as a nutritionist who specializes in an anti-inflammatory diet, but could still work with my IBS restrictions.
I would need to do it via zoom or phone as I live OOT.
Please send recs my way!
Thanks

Have you looked into the SCD diet?

Just want to say I had IBS for many years and so painful to the point I went to the ER. After taking triphala (supplement) and eating fodmap -free foods it healed on its own post 1-2 years. I can eat anything now, including white bread with the exception of garlic which I don’t think I’ll ever get over. It may give some symptoms at the start but give it time. I also reccomend to find ways to reduce lecithins in your diet. (I.e. peeling veggies and fruits that are fodmap friendly, soaking quinoa and potatoes, etc. that helped me tons.)
There are also many foods that are gut healing which I incorporated daily, like ginger, cinnamon with quick oats, turmeric, etc. Healing IBS is truly is a whole body approach type of thing. Wishing you health.

Grains (starches, carbs) cause inflamation. Remove them from your diet and it should help the inflamation.

Thank you everyone for your answers.
I was thinking about it a bit more and I decided that I what I really want is a nutritionist who specializes in an anti inflammatory diet.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
