That’s really early for an 11 year old but if she’s fine with it, then that’s good. My ten year old’s bedtime is 9-9:30. (He is inside the house by 8.)

Officially 9. But she's rarely in bed them. More like 930-10.
Her camp bus is a 10:15-10:20 vs 8:00 for school. It's summer. I don't make a big deal out of it.
Often I'll just get into bed myself and then she will.
After 10, I'm only available for true emergencies.
If I see it's almost 10 I'll give her a huga and a good night kiss wherever she's at. No tucking in anymore.

He doesn’t really have one. I basically make sure he goes to bed by 10. But I’m a more relaxed parent. I also see he’s ok and doesn’t need more sleep. Hes also mature and takes care of his showering etc in his own- I don’t micromanage. Sometimes he skips a shower at night and will then wake up early to shower instead etc. if he’s hungry he takes something to eat…

8 is super early, unless they have to wake up at six or earlier. I have a 9:00 bedtime for that age.

You should specify boy or girl because at that age, my son wasn't even home at 8. So bed time was 9:30.

And also what grade.
My newly 10 year old is just finishing 4th grade. He has friends who are 9 still for another couple of months and friends who are very close to their 11th birthday. All finishing 4th grade.

My son who turns 11 in September never goes to bed before 10 and he's perfectly fine. Wakes up close to 8 usually. He starts school minyan this year though at 7:30 so we'll see how it goes. With older siblings up, it's very hard to get him to go to bed earlier.

My 11 yr old boy,
in the winter had a bedtime of 9. Woke up at 630 am to make his bus right after 7. If he slept in and didn't make the bus he would walk to school, but get there timely, sometimes he'd prefer walking so he can get a little more sleep. He needs his sleep. He goes in on his own no matter what goes on around him. In spring, he needed to daven maariv, so couldn't go in so early because of the zman. Now he is in sleepover camp.

I have a 12 year old who needs to wake up before 7 during the school year and I’m happy if he’s in bed by 10. He gets home from school at 5:30. How do you all enforce such early bedtimes with big kids? My son takes his time unwinding and it’s not like I can just bathe him and tuck him in anymore. Even my 8 year old id hardly in bed before 9.
