Dried fruit
Sunflower seeds in shell
Pumpkin seeds

Salsa
Tortilla chips
Pretzels
Cans of hearts of palm

My girls don’t like nosh and packed this type of food.
They took a jar of chocolate spread and ate it with pretzels, crackers, rice cakes. It was very popular.

-Stretch Island natural fruit leather
-Salted nuts (I like the Wonderful individual pre shelled pistachios)
-Popcorners
-Baby corn
-Hearts of palm
-Nature's Bakery raspberry fig bars
-Bada Bean Bada Boom Roasted Fava Bean snacks (really good and it's a protein snack)
Maybe get her a mini popcorn maker. She'll be more included to pop from popcorn and it's a very balanced snack.

I'm sending my son with corn nuts, sunflower seeds, and beef jerky. And plenty of junky stuff, too. I'd send nuts, too, but his camp doesn't allow it.

My DD took lots of beef jerky. It fills her up so she doesn't need to snack as much. Also it's a slow eat - takes time to chew, so she's not just sitting and mindlessly eating like you would with a bag of chips

sardines and tuna? No way!
Only send this if she's picky and won't eat lunch or dinner. She can bring them to the dining room and eat there. Not in the bunk house.

Anything in abundance even healthy snacks, can cause weight gain. Sunflower seeds and jerky sticks are way more fattening than gushers.
Encourage lots of exercise and hydration if possible.

Fattening yes. But real food. And not artificial sugar that deals havoc on the body.
Typically they bring one pkg for 4 weeks. It is fine.
Plus it takes a very long time eat sunflower seeds of cracking shells. I like it for a slow paced snack.
I would never think it’s healthy to make a girl going to camp concerned about her weight.
