I am in my early 50s. I want to get a pony tail sheital so hair is not on my neck in the heat. but don’t know if it’s age appropriate.what age is pony tail sheital appropriate? Also, can any age wear it high up or should it be lower down on neck?

I’ve seen women in their 60s with a pony Shaitel . It can look very classy . I really want one too .

I know someone in her 50's who wears something like a ponytail shaitel, low down - I'm thinking maybe she just puts a clip in? I'm not sure, but she does something to put her shaitel off her neck/shoulders and she's in that age range.

I wear mine in a pony but clip it up with a banana clip. I thik that's age appropriate.

A ponytail wig is to be cooler in the summer, why does age matter? I'm seeing ponies, buns, pinned up, I never thought of looking how old the shaitel wearer is.

Its not about the age number, but about how you present yourself.
If in general you dress/act young, then you can wear a pony shaitel (or any other cute trendy thing) even when youre a lot older than that.
But if you dress and act like an old Bubby, then it will look odd.
