I’m sending a teen to Israel with a friend this summer. I would like to send them on a tour of the old city/ ir David. Can anyone recommend a tour guide/ group where they can pay per person and not a private tour? Would also love a shuk tour but need someone who understands hechsherim.

Last time we were in Ir David they offered tours onsite from official guides who worked there -- we just signed up when we arrived.

Ir Dovid offers many tours in English. The evening light show tour has headphones if you don't understand hebrew.
