Someone on another thread said they signed up to take surveys
How are you not scared to give a picture of your drivers license
I would love to earn some extra cash
But it looks like a scam
They can steal some much from you

If you’ve done it please let me know

If you want them to pay you, you need to trust. I am doing it for months made a lot of money and they didn’t steal anything from me. None of the surveys have access to your info it’s just stored on their site so they can see that you are not a scammer.

I've made a ton of money on prolific, zero issues! It's a reputable site.

About $4500 doing it very casually over the past couple of years. You can definitely make more if you put more time into it than I do.

I’m the person who posted it on the other thread. I’ve been on the site since November and here are my earnings so far -

Some researchers pay in British pounds, others pay in dollars. 887 British pounds converts to $1,125.70, plus the $643 I made equals $1,769.15.

It’s a legitimate, safe site with many thousands of happy users over the years.

Researchers are not given access to your personal information, you are identified by a PIN number and your demographics to researchers. Most researchers are not allowed to ask personally identifiable questions such as your name, address, or email address. They recently started letting a limited number of approved researchers ask personally identifiable questions but they warn you before you accept a survey if the study asks for that kind of info and you can choose not to do those surveys if you don’t feel comfortable. I’ve only come across one of those surveys so far.

I’ve spent some time on it every day. I have a lot of free time once my toddler goes to sleep so I spend around an hour on prolific. I can cash out some money on most days and it is so satisfying.

I also signed up a couple of months ago.
Thanx to a very kind imamother that posted about it here.
I made couple hundred dollars since I don’t put that much time into it, more like when I’m bored etc.. but the more time you put into it the more you’ll make.
B”H did not have any issues.
Thanx again to the woman that mentioned it first!

There is a waitlist now...When signing up to be on the waitlist they don't ask for any sensitive information.

I signed up with another survey company.
They owe me $70 but I’m afraid to send them my drivers license.
Recently prolific contacted me that I’m approved and off the waitlist. Now they are asking for my license and I’m just not comfortable with that.
Not sure what to do…

So then don’t do it. The only way to ever be paid is to show you are real. If you don’t want to risk it you can’t be paid and it’s not for you.
