Bekeshe, Shtreimel, and a Tie. Is it ok?

How socially of is to wear a tie with a Bekeshe and Shtreimel?

How can one wear a tie and chassidish livush and not look socially off. A short suit, tie, and shtreimel?

Are you chassidish?
A tie is not chassidish levush, he'd look socially off wearing a tie with a shtreimel & bekisha. A shtreimal with a short jacket, that would get him some laughs & lots of stares. He'd look dressed up for purim.
(I think Sadigur & Boyan rebba wear a tie, but just the rebba, not their followers.)

Usually, its a beketche, up hat and tie but some shassidus like stolin does wear a tie with streimel as well.

It ok. Whatever special beged, you but on for shabbos is a wonderful mitzva

A short suit, tie and shtreimel would look completely weird. A bekeshe and shtreimel with a tie is a certain look. It used to be something you’d see in certain parts of BP. Most of the guys who dressed like that have greyish white beards now. Their sons wear short jackets and black hats and learned in the Mir, or they still go to their rebbe’s tish occasionally and wear the same chassidish levush as their fathers did but got rid of the tie. There are also some Israelis who wear a bekeshe, shtreimel and tie but I think that was also older generation and uncommon today.
You didn’t say op, but is there a reason you want to combine chassidish levush with a necktie?

I've not seen bekeshe tie and shtreimil, except for certain rebbe's.
Bekeshe tie and down hat is not uncommon though.

Bekeshe tie and down hat is very common. You especially see it a lot in the UK and parts of Israel but I see it in the U.S. too.
I didn’t mean to call out any type of levush as strange. Just trying to help out op in case there’s a reason she needs to know. I think we can all agree short jacket, tie and shtreimel is a flat no. If there’s anyone that doesn’t think that looks completely off, please let us know.

So with the up-hat a tie is fine even with a bekeshe? But that's not really so workable for shabbos Sad

My FIL family doesn't wear a shtreimel, they wear a bekisha tie & up hat.
But only the older generation still wear it. The younger one's all wear regular chassidish levush without a tie.
