I was in the mid 140s. Lost about 15 lbs. started on shushan purim.
Off caffeine, sugar and flour (eat ww matzoh on shabbos). Keeping a 1200 calorie diet and walking 30-40 mins daily. I’m in my low 30s and have more energy then I’ve had in at least 2-3 years .. my baby is over 2. So happy to be feeling more like myself lately.
Have a simcha coming up and so happy I fit into some great old clothes and I don’t have to buy new..
the self control that it takes sometimes feels superhuman. It’s so so hard when I’m around kids/ kiddie foods and snacks all day !
Bh it does get easier as I’m in the routine longer. especially since I’m pretty much eating the same things on repeat so I keep the house stocked with those things and I also prep in advance…

Thats amazing!! It definitely is just a lot of self control. I recently went from 160- 138 now and want to get back down to at least 130.
I just try to tune out all other food and just focus on what I can eat.

2 hard boiled eggs and fruit for breakfast. I have a hard time with bland protein. Some salt and cayenne pepper goes a long way with the eggs.
Large grilled chicken salad for lunch. Usually do pickles, cukes, tomatoes, hearts of palm and dressing.
Dinner - usually will eat the protein my kids eat together with grilled veggies.. my favs are cauliflower, broccoli, little peppers, cherry tomatoes..
I also love cured fish - I make those platters that u can buy with raw tuna. I add onions, jalapeño, scallions .. olive oil salt and pepper. I let it sit for a few hours .. delish

ETA. I’ll usually eat 1-2 fruits as snacks thruout the day. I love spearmint gum. Sometimes I’ll drink Fresca as a treat but mostly 8-10 cups of water a day
