My ds went to a friend's house after school for a playdate. When I went to pick him up, the parent in charge said they were playing in the backyard while the parent was watching a younger sibling in the house. I went to the backyard and I find the two boys in a corner with they're pants and underwear pulled down. How do I handle it? Do I not let mychild not play with this kid anymore? Only playdates in my house from now on? Bring it up to the parent? I know that body exploration at a certain age is normal, but this horrifies me!

5 yr old boys totally normal. Speak to your son and inform the other mother so she can speak to her son.
You can choose to not send your son there again because of the inadequate supervision, that's your call.

I wouldn’t send to a house that doesn’t supervise this age.
Reminds me of that 5 year olds alone outside thread.
Also have a talk with him about privacy and when it’s appropriate to pull pants down ( bathroom, to change, at doctor.. )

He was outside his friends house in the backyard! I would totally let my 5yo out alone in those circumstances
I would have a talk with him about it not being appropriate

They were in the backyard. It's fine if mom went inside.
I'd just tell the mom what they did & talk to my son about privacy & how inappropriate it is. Don't make too a big deal out of it though. It's age appropriate behavior.
Maybe they needed to pee & they went in the yard.

I am going to try and have this boy over by me whenever possible instead of sending my son over there so I can keep a closer eye. I spoke to my son earlier and reminded him about privacy. Thanks everybody. I just wanted reassurance or know if I should be panicking. I spoke to my son earlier and reminded him about privacy.
