If you live in Israel it’s different because everyone is on a shorter schedule. The older kids also come home earlier than in other places around the world.
The people I know from Israel go out to the park with their kids/neighbors every afternoon
10-3:45.
I have time with her in the morning as she goes an hour later as the rest of the kids.
She does come home cranky, but after a snack and a few minutes of attention she usually calms down.
Mine is out from around 8 45 until 2. It's plenty. He comes home and plays with his baby sibling and talks non stop about his day. We go out a lot too for playdates. I can't imagine him being out for longer. They're babies at this age. He does occasionally get bored but that's okay.
School 8:30-2pm, Friday until 12:30pm. She could probably handle more, but we'd have to pay for it. She does tend to fall asleep when she comes home before her siblings, sometimes she'll go play with a friend after school.
