Hi. Hoping to get some advice from more experienced mommys.
My 17mo baby has problems falling asleep.
Up until about 2 months ago he would fall asleep soon after we put him in the crib. Now it will take him about an hour and half of twisting and turning until he finally falls asleep.
He is very very exhausted and tired by the time we start bathtime. As soon as hes out of the bath he yawns and is ready to fall asleep. The minute we put him in the crib he gets a boost of energy and starts dancing and clapping. After we leave the room he'll lay down, talk to himself and twist and turn for 1.5 hrs (close to 9pm)
Here's what we do:
Is exhausted by bedtime
Goes to bed by 7:30
Room darkner
Noise machine
He is getting his molars but it's 2 months already. If this is the cause- what can be done long term? Why the sudden energy boost in the crib?
His nap is from 1-3 but he's tired by 6pm and by 7pm very very tired.

He may be overtired by the time he gets to bed. Try an earlier bedtime.
