Guests sleeping over

When you have a guest sleeping over for shabbos (or any time), what do you leave for them in their room? A basket of toiletries, extra towels, water bottles, magazines? I’d love to hear and get ideas.

I always leave out baked goods in my kitchen and tell my guests they can take any food/drinks they want

Based on threads about clogged toilets etc pleased make sure they have a garbage can in the bathroom they use.
If you have sensitive plumbing make a sign they shouldn't flush wipes and other things down the drain.

Bed,pillows, covers, towel.
And I show them around the kitchen.
No food in any place in our home except kitchen and dinning room. I leave a cup on the counter for each guest.
And there are tissues in each bathroom.

Guest bathroom fully stocked with toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, bedika cloths, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Mouthwash, q tips, ikea hotel style slippers, bathrobes, extra towels.
Tissues and toilet paper
Wet wipes, with a note not to flush
Water bottles in the room
Shabbat lamp
Shaitel stand

I show them around the kitchen and ask not to take any food to the bedroom

Welcome letter with the code to the front door and the WI FI password

Ques - when I host other people’s guests for Simchos , I am ready to show them around the kitchen - coffee, baked goods, pastries etc , but many times the guests show up so close to Shabbos and they have to run to the rooms to get ready , there’s no time to show them the kitchen etc ?

Usually they leave before candle lighting they get in the car (with their husbands if applicable)to drive to shul because in my neighborhood that’s where the baalei simcha hold their meal and the guests light there and drive right before Shabbos so they save one time walking. There is ample parking by the shul.in my house We have a separate entrance to the guest suite so I don’t see them when they come and go so I don’t even see them later when they return.

No the only kitchen down there is my Pesach kitchen. There is no other safe place to set up an urn, fridge etc. and honestly I don’t want to encourage people to eat pastries there. Only one person said clock- so repeating for good measure:
CLOCK & set to right time.
Many ppl dont hv watches today because we rely on phones for time.
So we are stuck on shabbos.
Still remember the time I stayed in a basement, only clock was on thermostat outside bedroom. And time was off. I checked time before I left the meal, estimated time it took to walk, calculated how off it was & in middle of night was doing math to figure out time.

Agree with emerald.
My DH for example does not wear a watch on Shabbos.
Yes I put a clock on the night table in my guest room.

I do too. All Except for the wipes. Plumbing in my house cannot take that.

I don't have a watch. I rely on my wall clock and bedside table clock at home and my phone when I'm out.

On Shabbos I'm usually in the house for most of the day.
