My son just got this phone, as it's one of the two approved phones for his yeshiva - the other being the Fig. This one is half the price, and while he hates how bulky it is, we (DH and I) are happy that it's not likely to break (aside from the screen). It has some apps, like 24Six, waze, siddur, zmanim, etc.
The salesman said the Fig is always breaking and people are unhappy with it, so he recommended the CAT, as it does the same things and is much stronger and better for a 15 year old who broke his old phone by dropping it.
It's too late because we bought it yesterday, but if anyone has it and has comments, I'd love to hear them. I'd also love to hear from people who have the Fig for their HS age son. Thanks!

Tag does not recommend the CAT phones because they do not worm like regular smartphones so the usual locks and filters used aren't as reliable

Like I said, my son’s yeshiva recommends the CAT or the Fig. Tag is irrelevant to me.
