I have an extra zucchini that I want to use before it goes bad. Was thinking of cutting into chunks and putting in a netted bag in the Cholent. Would that taste good? Also will it affect the taste of the rest of the Cholent? Because my family won’t be happy if it does.

I've tried it. It doesn't affect the taste of the cholent. But I didn't find the zucchini to be that tasty.
On the other hand, I've put cauliflower in a netted bag in the cholent. Loved it, but my family said it affected the taste.

It probably won't effect the taste. But would be delicious instead just roasted with spices
