Even if what you saying is true not everything in life is about being happier, emotionally/mentally/physically better off, or more fulfilled.
Those who I know that are still living in accordance with seminary ideals are doing a lot more mitzvahs than I am. Including in bein odom l'chavorey While some people do not value that so much many years after seminary I still do.
Yes, I'm well aware of the people who exist in such abundance in the online world. They seem so frum on the outside but are really terrible people and the woman who barely cover their hair and are glued to their smartphones who are the absolute epitome of true tzidkus. In real life, I've rarely met the former and never met the latter.
