Bjj was not like this 25 years ago and certainly not today.

Today, it is specifically known for being a very high social pressure place due to the very large numbers of very socially with it, smart, girls who go.

Not there there arent quieter types, theres 180 girls! But they are in the minority and not the flavor.

This is actually a big consideration when considering sending a not super socially engaged girl. Will it sharpen her or exaust her.

From all the girls that went to BJJ in my school, the only common denominators were that they were smart and frum. Some yeshivish, some not, some nerdy, some cool etc. When I went to visit I saw a bunch of cute girls. A lot of girls were studying so that was different than the sem I went to. My friends that went to BJJ loved it.
