Does anyone know of places in Israel or US that takes post-college/professional women? The woman I know is a bt in her twenties and wants to spend a year learning but doesn't want to go to a yeshivish place like neve/shearim or be years older than the rest of the people in the beit midrash like in a regular post-hs MO sem. She specifically wants text-based, skill-building. Not a total beginner (has learned some talmud and tanach inside) but doesn't have enough hebrew to go to an israeli midrasha...

Midreshet Rachel v’Chaya! They don’t push a particular hashkafa, and have students and teachers who identify with all parts of orthodoxy.

MRC is what you’re looking for. It’s a BT sem for approx 20-30 year olds and is text based learning. It’s not yeshivish

I heard that Nishmat doesn't have the post-college program in English anymore Sad MRC seems like a great option but are there any others?

I want to also say that although the staff of Neve Is made up of more yeshivish rebbeim the student body really defines the experience there and the student body is constantly changing. They have lots of different tracks that can really speak to a variety of different learning styles/levels. I wouldn’t write it off so quickly, this could be a great seminary for a girl her age.

Just from looking at the curriculum and staff on MRC's website, MRC does not seem similar to Nishmat.

There is no option for a regular gemara seder and there is not even an elective gemara course in the curriculum at MRC. I am not sure whether OP's friend would care or not, maybe that is not on her radar. But just thought I would flag it since OP said her friend previously learned gemara and wants a text-based place.

gemara is not a total dealbreaker for her but I think she would definitely prefer a place that offers it

Right now, there isn't any place that offers it.

From what you've said, I'd also recommend Midreshet Rachel, though she could also look into Shearim. Neve is really not text based, so probably wouldn't suit her at all.

If she really wants gemara, she could add a gemara course (at whichever level suits her) from Nishmat's on line Beit Midrash. They don't have a full time English speaking programme any more, but the zoom classes are good.
