Can someone PLEASE help me FINALLY get to the bottom of the kugel blades. Which is the “kugel blade” vs “S” blade, etc. my disc has grating blade and then smaller grating blade if I turn over the disc. (Hope I’m making sense). I’m so frustrated…
Thank you all in advance! 😀

I don’t usually use the discs unless I’m making latkes.

I have the braun food processor. It comes with an S blade that I use for blending (tomato dip, olive dip, ambrosia...). It also comes with 2 grating blades, one that makes larger "strings" of veg and one that makes smaller ones. It has a slicer blade that does super thin slices. And it has the all elusive kugel blade.... it's a blade with small grating holes but they are a different shape than the "stringy" grater. More like a star pointing out of the grate rater than a circle... I hope that description is clear...

Yes, but which is the “s” blade? What does it look like?

Not all food processors come with a kugel blade. I know the braun does. Hamilton Beach didn't last I checked. It's a grater that goes into the disc. The s- blade is 2 actual metal knife blades that go at the bottom of the bowl, forming an s sort of shape

Looks like an S. In the braun food processor.

The braun also comes with a tiny s blade I use for dips.

I just got the link to post as you asked lol.

I like the s blade so use that. I use the kugel blade for latkes. I assumed everyone called the s blade a kugel blade.

We use the Braun food processor and the store told me that the kugel blade has the c blade.. we have been using it like this for awhile and haven’t switched since.. I’m sure whatever you decide, it will still taste delicious
