1 potato
1 carrot
some onion
oil, generous amount
potato starch
salt, to taste

Process the vegetables in the food processor, and place in a nice sized bowl.
Add generous amount of oil.
Add potato starch. Keep adding more potato starch slowly and kneed as you go along, until you get a good consistancy that holds together. Kishka should hold together nicely, but should not be too hard/firm either.
Season with salt to taste. Make sure to taste as you season, so that the kishka has enough salt for it to be very tasty.
Roll into a log, then roll nicely in foil. Bury in hot cholent, and leave it there to cook for the duration of Shabbos.
Enjoy!

no eggs, even! Gonna try this during the year, cuz DS is allergic to eggs, so I can never put my old recipe into the cholent. Thanks.

I made the same recipe as my year round kishke (celery, carrots, an onion, oil, spices and flour) using matzo meal and it came out great.

Do you shred veggies or use the S blade?

Yes. And then the baked wrapped kishke roll can be placed on top of the yapchik before shabbos.
